ACOUSTIC PANELS
Acoustic panels have sound absorbing properties and are used to enhance the quality and
clarity of sound in a room or an area. The acoustic panels are very effective in controlling reverberation.
These panels are built in a way to complement the location with their design and finish.
The acoustic panels are very effective in large rooms and can be used as dividers in a hall or auditorium, providing a sound control function. The material used for the acoustic panels and the design on the acoustic louvers depends on the level of noise control required.

Wooden Acoustic Panels
Wooden acoustic panels can be fitted on the walls or ceiling for the purpose of absorbing sound. The base of the wooden acoustic panel comprises of fibreglass core board and it has a wooden laminate finish. The back of the panel is lined with acoustic felt. The internal core board is 16mm to 18 mm thick.
The Grooved Wooden Acoustic panel is designed with machine etched long grooves giving it a patterned finish. Other patterns are also available as per the client’s desires. The acoustic panels can be used in all areas where sound control is required such as schools, recording studios, meeting rooms, offices, theatres, auditoriums etc. The wooden panels can also be used as a free standing partition or screen.

ELASTIC ACOUSTIC PANELS
Elastic acoustic panels are very effective for sound absorption. They are especially suited
for areas with high frequency noise. They can be placed along the wall or even on the ceiling. The elastic
acoustic panels are made of a polyester fibre base material giving it a certain amount of flexibility.
Features :-
The elastic acoustic panel are aesthetically attractive and add to the interior décor of the auditorium, studio, theatre or wherever they are paced. The outer surface of the panel has a number of options available for the client to choose from. It could have a print design or embossed or a plain bold surface. We have some sizes readily available. We can also make custom sizes according to the client’s requirement.
The thickness and flexibility of the elastic acoustic panel depends on the base material. The panels have thermal insulation properties. They are moisture proof and mould proof adding to their durability properties. The coefficients for sound absorption are between 0.8dB(A) and 1.1 dB(A).
Elastic Panels are Mainly Applied For :-
Property: 50mm Thickness | |||||||
Test condition | Centre Frequency (Hz) | 125 | 250 | 500 | 1000 | 2000 | 4000 |
Install closely on wall | Sound absorption coefficient | 0.27 | 0.91 | 1.23 | 1.29 | 1.21 | 1.13 |
10cm cavity | Sound absorption coefficient | 0.58 | 1.10 | 1.33 | 1.19 | 1.28 | 1.22 |
