ANECHOIC CHAMBER
Anechoic chamber
Envirotech provides Anechoic Chamber based on ISO 3744, ISO 3745, and ANSI S12.55. We avail a complete range of services from design to fabrication and installation of the Anechoic Chambers. There are several types of Anechoic chambers namely Semi Anechoic Chamber, Hemi Anechoic Chamber, and Mini Anechoic Chamber. We have a team of experts for all of these. We provide tailored solutions to match our client's expectations as far as the performance of these Anechoic Chambers is concerned. The sound is damped, so there is no echo or reverberation in the room. It is literally one of the quietest places you will find. The walls are specially made for quiet in the room. They are made of fiberglass wedges that absorb the sound, thus no sound is bounced back to you.Anechoic Chamber, is a sound laboratory designed so as to minimize sound reflections as well as external noise. External sound is excluded by physical isolation of the structure, elaborate acoustical filters in the ventilating ducts, and thick masonry walls. Interior surfaces are covered with absorptive material, such as glass fiber or mineral wool in blankets or in horizontal and vertical wedges.
An anechoic chamber is a shielded room that has radio-wave absorbing material applied to the walls, ceiling, and floor. Chambers may be table top-sized enclosures but are normally room-sized enclosures where engineers can walk in and work. Anechoic Chambers are the recommended solution for noise attenuation needs, where a quiet environment is required to conduct research and development work. Many industries such as aerospace, automotive and acoustic laboratories use these chambers. The insulation of the chamber gives the perfect environment for audio or video recording with no outside disturbances.

Design of Anechoic chambers
The Anechoic Chamber has the following features: -It is a soundproof, airtight environment with the capability of absorbing all incident sounds. -It is designed to simulate the effects and uses of outer space. A fully functional anechoic chamber has functional floors that have grating to support any heavy test subject. The Anechoic Chamber means total sound suppression, so you can get the most accurate readings for your acoustical tests. It's great for product testing and development, so you can make sure your designs are not too loud, annoying, or uncomfortable for customers like never before.Anechoic Chambers provide the ultimate in acoustic performance and desired environment for many applications. These include research laboratories, industrial environments, audio/video production studios, and more. The chamber's construction is lightweight steel frame panels with a rigid floor and an eco-friendly acoustic insulating material called lauan plywood.
Envirotech is one of India's most trusted and largest designers, developers, and suppliers of anechoic chambers for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) test facilities. Our Anechoic Chambers are custom-made in India under strict quality standards to meet any size requirement you might have.
“The quietest place on earth, an anechoic chamber at Orefield Laboratories in Minnesota, is so quiet that the longest anybody has been able to bear it is 45 minutes. Inside the room it's silent. So silent that the background noise measured is actually negative decibels, -9.4 dBA”
Sound absorption parameters of Anechoic Chamber
In the Anechoic Chamber the effectiveness of sound and electromagnetic waves absorption is measured in decibel rejection. This is the ratio of direct sound to reflected sound, inside the anechoic chamber. The Envirotech Anechoic Chamber offers a 80 dB rejection from 20 KHz to 80 Hz.
Industrial Application of Anechoic Chamber
- Noise Test Chamber: Noise Test Chamber eliminates the noises of a busy and noisy workplace. It is among the best noise-cancelling technique for the office. The outside noise is absorbed by the noise-absorbing and acoustic panels and converted into a dry undisturbed sound that is pleasant and unobtrusive. The user environment has then been converted into the optimal acoustic environment.
- NVH Test Chamber: The NVH Test chambers are mostly used in manufacturing industries for the testing of multiple equipment's like motors, engines, speakers, and air conditioners, as well as in automotive sectors to check and control reverberations and engine noise.
- Audiometric chamber: Our understanding of the design and knowledge of stringent science combine to meet both the practical and the empirical needs of Audiometric Chambers for audiologists, acousticians, and architects.
- Semi-Anechoic Chamber: A semi-anechoic chamber is an enclosed space designed primarily to reduce reverberation, reflection and standing waves. Chambers vary in size and acoustic properties, depending on their application and the materials used to build them.
- Mini/Portable Anechoic Chamber: Mini Anechoic Chambers are widely used by manufacturers of small components and devices as compact, low-cost testing environments to perform tests and measure the noise emission of their products accurately and seamlessly.
- Engine test cell Acoustic Treatment: we use acoustic lining on the wall filled with insulating material, acoustic doors to access the engine test cell, acoustic ducting for proper air circulation, smoke exhaust pipe, and a soundproof glass window to view inside the engine test cell. All of this is accompanied by our aesthetic finishing.
