SITE INSPECTIONS - NOISE IMPACT ASSESSMENTS
Noise level assessment starts with a site inspection for the noise impact that the installation or setup of the power plant or industry will have. Industrial areas that tend to generate high levels of noise need to follow some kind of acoustic measures to bring the noise level under the permissible level as per the Noise at Work Regulations. To assess the noise levels we do a number of noise surveys at the site and measure the noise levels at different times.
We measure the environment noise level without any activity of the plant. Next we measure the noise level with the plant active and compare the noise impact on the environment. We use a variety of techniques for assessment which are guided by prescribed documents and standards.
We are very experienced in the field of noise impact assessment and we offer customised services to suit our client’s requirement. We assess all kinds of sites and give you a detailed and in-depth assessment report. We can also do a yearly assessment and provide you with a calibration certificate to ensure that the noise levels are within permissible limits.

SOUND INSULATION TESTING
To get an accurate reading the sound insulation testing is very important in helping to provide us data that can help us to determine the noise level.
There are two types of sound insulation testing:
Airborne sound insulation: relates somewhat to the walls and flooring. It is basically the difference of the sound level at the source of the noise and at the receiving end. The greater the sound reduction the better the airborne sound insulation performance. The airborne sound insulation testing determines how much of sound is carried out through the air.
Impact sound insulation: Is mainly about the acoustic properties of the floor. It relates to how effectively the floor can absorb shock. This test is performed with a tapping machine and the sound reduction is measured in the room immediately below this room. The softer the sound carried out the better the acoustic and sound absorption properties of the flooring.
We offer high end sound insulation testing services and a quick service with almost immediate analysis of the sound testing results. We also offer very competitive prices for our services. Enviro Tech are leaders in the area of sound testing and analysis.
