NOISE BARRIER
The high level of noise pollution in the environment has made it mandatory for many commercial areas to
limit the level of noise emitted. This noise reduction is implemented using noise barriers.
We manufacture noise barrier for airport, highways and railways. These are all areas that generate a lot of noise and the surrounding areas need sound control solutions to avoid being disturbed by the noise. The features of our noise barriers are:
The noise barriers are made of steel or aluminium which ensures that the noise barriers are robust and strong to tolerate rough outdoor conditions. They have good exterior finishes which enables the noise barriers to comfortably blend in with the surroundings. Installation can be done quickly as they come in prefabricated components which just need to be assembled at the site.
Noise Barrier Performance :
The noise barriers perform excellently and the perforation on one side reduces reverberation between barriers that have been placed parallel to each other. The glossy exterior has been designed for aesthetic appeal.
There is no compromise when it comes to quality and accomplishing the task of noise reduction. Our designs have been tested and tried to give optimal performance. Our absorptive panels are result driven and provide the maximum sound attenuation possible. The Metallic Noise Barriers provide a minimum sound insulation of 25 STC and sound absorption level in between 125 Hz to 4000 Hz.
Applications:
The noise barriers have a high demand for commercial use in a number of areas due to its effectiveness in helping to reduce the sound in the environment. Some areas of usage are:
These are just to name a few. The outdoor noise barriers can be used at any site where there is a high level of noise.

ABSORPTIVE AND REFLECTIVE NOISE BARRIERS
An absorptive noise barrier absorbs the sound that comes against it. It is made of a
material that is good at absorbing the sound and maintains the noise control level. The porous material or
the sound dampening material will not send the sound back but will absorb it. A reflective noise barrier
does not allow the sound to penetrate the enclosure. It reflects the noise that hits it in another
direction. Some highways are lined with reflective noise barriers on both sides and the sound bounces of
one side and hits the other side causing reverberation. The noise spillage pours into the adjacent
neighbourhood over the top of the sound barrier as it is deflected in different directions. Hard surfaces
are reflective and will divert the noise to another direction. Sound absorption is an effective way of
noise abatement and works in considerably reducing the overall noise level.
For a noise barrier to be highly effective it needs to have both absorptive and reflective properties together. The Sound Transmission Class (STC) level of a noise barrier gives an evaluation of the amount of sound that passes through the noise barrier. The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) gives us a measure of the amount of sound that is absorbed by the noise barrier. Parallel sound barriers used for areas such as highways, railways and airports need to be both reflective and absorptive.

POLYCARBONATE NOISE BARRIER
With a polycarbonate noise barrier you can be sure of a quiet environment. Residential
colonies bordering highways of busy roads prefer to erect a wall of polycarbonate noise barriers to
protect the residents from noise pollution.
The polycarbonate noise barriers are made of polycarbonate sheets which are translucent allowing the light to pass through. The light transmission can be modified to suit the requirement of the client. The noise barriers come in varying thickness depending on the level of noise control required.
Polycarbonate/Acrylic Sheets:
Applications:
Generally polycarbonate noise barrier has its own utilities as per its requirement.

Polycarbonate/Acrylic Sheets:
- The standard Polycarbonate Noise Barrier, during laboratory tests, was given a sound insulation rate of 20 dB(A).
- Polycarbonate sheet is coextruded with weather protection on both side against UV radiation from sunlight and for avoidance of coating failure.
- Minimum thickness: 8.0 mm thick but vary if requirement is specific.
- Tensile Strength: at least 60 N/m2,
- Light Transmittance: 90% for clear polycarbonate sheet
- Stone Impact Resistance: As per EN 1794-2 Annex.C
- Fire spred of frame: BS 476, part 7, calss 1 or 2.
- Modulus of elasticity: at laest 2000 N/mm2
